Maison d'Alain Ducasse in Provence
A charming restaurant in the heart of a fiercely protected village in the wine country, in the shadow of a royal Abbey, which hosted the good and the great of this world...
In the shaded square of a quiet little village in the Haut-Var, this beautiful home, adjacent to a 12th century abbey invites you to sample all the pleasures of a true gourmet experience. From the vegetable garden of the Hostellerie to the depths of the Mediterranean Sea, chef Benoît Witz passionately draws upon the region's bounties. Sunny and original, the menu evolves with the seasons, displaying the depth and richness of his talent, from zucchini flower and crispy bacon risotto to pressed duck and foie gras. Completing this delicious work of art on a plate, guests can watch their dish being prepared, a wonder to behold!
Some gourmet pleasures to discover: Pressed foie gras and figs, golden toast; Hake's back, mashed sweet almond and lemon gnocchi
